Terrarium Workshop

SCEC is organising a collaborative initiative with ITE College East to engage our senior citizens in some community projects which can motivate their minds and creativity. One of them is an ECO project... namely the terrarium workshop which means planting plants in glass bottles. The residents were provided with free materials and plants and the participants needed only to bring their own glass bottles. Two lecturers and five students came to  assist the residents in this workshop. 14 adults and 5 children participated in this workshop. If the demand from Siglap residents is good, the lecturers may consider conducting more classes next year with minimum charges to cover for costs incurred.
